For as long as I can remember, I've kept some kind of a journal. I got a diary in every Easter basket growing up, and I'd make it my mission to fill those bad boys up with all of my deepest tweenage thoughts by Summer! When you are as talkative as I am, people tend to hand you blank pages with the instruction to "Go on ahead and write all that down, kiddo!" What I loved most, was looking back at all the progress I had made, how my views changed over time and how those moments you SWORE you'd never make it thru, became the moments you realized your own strength! So, buckle up - I've got endless Easter basket diary knowledge to drop on ya!

I've got everyone I know HYPED about Intermittent Fasting, (which I will refer to as "IF" from here on out --> because it's 17 less words to type and my fingers are lazy :)

It's been such a game changer for me, no more bloat, my crappy skin break out have FINALLY stopped, plus I sleep like a baby... Wait, babies don't really sleep. Why do people use that term if babies obviously don't sleep? I sleep really good now, that's really what I'm saying here. It's awesome!


About a year ago, I had a pretty serious kidney surgery - and with the meds, recovery time and overall changes to my system - I found myself staring at an extra 45 LBs on the scale. Just FYI - that's a Kindergartner. I was carrying around the equiv to a Kinder Kid in fat. Now you have the visual, you're picturing a small child on my back aren't you? It's ok, thats practically how I felt! Anyway, I KNEW there had to be some OTHER way to get healthy again, not just drop pant sizes for a few months. Diet fads and all the crazy shit we find ourselves doing to drop a few pounds was NOT an option. I needed a DETOX, and I needed to break my food addiction BIGLY ya'll... I was a mess!

I celebrated with food.

I commiserated with food.

Food was my real BFF and I needed to break the chains!
